Wessex Quiltmakers

Welcome to our website, which was launched in June 2008.  Still under development at the moment, we plan to grow it over time as a resource for both members and visitors.

Wessex Quiltmakers is a friendly local patchwork and quilting group, founded in 1978.  We meet twice a month in term-time, in the John and Betty Mobbs Suite in the Otterbourne Village Hall, near Winchester.   Visitors are always welcome.  For information about our forthcoming meetings, please click here.

We are currently very busy preparing for our 30th anniversary exhibition "The last 30 years and sew on ..."   to be held in the Middle Brook Centre in Winchester on Friday and Saturday 14 and 15 August 2009.  Apart from finishing our own projects, we've made a double bed quilt to raffle in aid of Naomi House, and bags in aid of the Hampshire Air Ambulance.  For more information about the exhibition, please see the navigation button on the left of the page.  We hope to have many visitors to see our work and also enjoy our delicious home made cakes!

If you would like to purchase raffle tickets, please get in touch via the contacts section of the site.
