Wessex Quiltmakers is a friendly patchwork and quilting group, founded in 1978. We meet twice a month in term-time, at St Mark's Church Hall, Oliver's Battery Road South, Winchester SO22 4EZ. Visitors are always welcome (for which we make a small charge), and some enjoy their visits so much that they decide to become members!

The photograph below shows the wall hanging "Fire Dance". This quilt was made by a group of 6 of our members who each contributed a panel. It was awarded "Highly Commended" at the Festival of Quilts in August of this year.
