30th Anniversary Exhibition

Wessex Quiltmakers celebrated their 30th anniversary last year. 

Our anniversary exhibition "The last 30 years and Sew on" was held in the Middle Brook Centre, Winchester, on Friday and Saturday 14th and 15th August 2009.  It was our most successful exhibition ever.

As part of our celebrations, we made a large double bed quilt to raffle in aid of Naomi House Children's Hospice.  The photo shows the quilt being stretched.  In total, we raised over £1700 for the charity.
